this was on my GT/CS. it was ordered optionally, as mine also came with a stock painted one. i have never seen one of these anywhere, yet it has a ford p/n. it has this indented line in it. comes with "Ford prefers BP" gas cap attached. looks very nice on the car, and i never saw another one.

Yeah they were an option from Ford and when you ordered it they installed it after the car came off the line and they would put the stock one in the trunk. All of the ones we got were an aluminum finish. It looks good in the matte black!

interesting to know.

previous owner of my GT/CS i used to own, bought an extra spoiler and painted it matte black, and this cover. went really good with the matte strip and the front and rear bumper parts that were matte black.

Yeah I bet it looked good. I just put my black silverhorse racing door on this weekend and it turned out really nice. It cost a hell of a lot more than what you are selling yours for so bump for a good deal too lol
