Wow, that's kinda harsh.I thought all you Canuks were timid and meek--are you sure you really are from Can??? As to why we are still here....purely financial reasons, we are both Canadain citizens and cannot get work visas right now. I am also 8 yr away from retiremen. Didn't mean to start a forum war, just offered a couple of spare parts I have lying around to try and help out a fellow car guy--you commented on my avitar. I'm the moderator over at The Fastest Street Car Forum with True Street--our race class and can honestly say that over several years, no one has ever commented on avitars--maybe it's a touchy subject up here. I didn't criticize anyone for their beliefs or country of choice, I just said I have a preference.

I'm willing to bet that if you were to mention on an American forum of why you felt Canada was so much better you'd probably get a similar reaction. Real Canadians are patriotic just like real Americans.

On several already--I'm a MOD on one also. I just know that a lot of you guys get screwed when you buy parts out of the States with taxes and shipping--I've got a couple of spare extenders that work really neat that I thought someone locally could use and possibly save a few $$ on by buying from On. Never intended to offend anyone and only gave my opinion because your MOD made a comment. Really guys, I don't care whether or not you like were you live or have strong opinions/predujustces (probably spelling incorrect) about other countries, I just offered up a couple of spare parts. Clearly , I touched on a nerve by responding to your MOD and, if that's the case I am sorry.

Yep, fair enough--with you 100%. Just found it a bit out of place for MOD to make a comment like that but hey...........as you can probably assume, I'm all for free speech and he is free to run his forum as he sees fit.

Wer'e all obviously car guys and I would be happy to have any of you sit down at our hauler at a track or with the Wife's '68 at a car show and have a beer. I really meant to offence.

If you think it's out of place for me to make a comment like that, you obviously haven't spent much time around here. Moderator is just the job I do here, I'd gladly remove the title and say the same thing, so don't let that bother you, and no need to apologize. And it's not my forum BTW (by the way), I just hang out here. I'm not trying to bust your ***** (much), but what sort of reaction did you think you'd get ? Chad hit the nail on the head. Go on a US site and make comments like that, and watch it get real nasty, real fast. Good luck with the visa's, hope they come through for y'all, sooner the better. Besides, looking at your history, the only reason you're here is to sell your merchandise.
