Add HP!

Its not hard on engine if its installed and set up proper the 302 5.0ho was made for nitrous they love it.As for the expense of filling i have my own fill station i bought for cheaper then my nos kit but it cost me around 3 to 4 dollers a pound you go to performance shop its 8 to 10 average a pound. But its not that bad if your only running a 75 to 100 shot you can run about 10 passes maybe more.It does get expensive but its the cheapest easy hp as you can run it on a stock motor with a bit of timing if you are running a bigger shot.So if you want cheap easy gain nos is good for the weekend warrior if you want hp all day everyday get a supercharger 1500-2500 used roughly but then with that theres other add on you will need to injectors pump fmu hole pile of stuff. So in other words its up to you and there are a million things you can do for cheap easy hp even underdrive pulleys cold air kit and gear you will find a huge difference. If you want the best upgrade if it hasnt been done on your car get new gear put in best upgrade ever IMO.Theres so much out there

for easy gains.. go nitrous most kits are made for stock to mild engines, you just have to manage the shot. i'm running a 100 shot in my Eagle talon TSI, but it's also got forged internals, stage two heads, and a mild cam. Right now i'm trying to decide on either a blower or 75 shot nitrous for my stang. If you do go with nitrous, go ZEX, i love the system on my TSI, and they were very helpful. but if you do that i'd sugest going with a wet kit, dry kits are not really worth it and IMO not the safest. with a wet kit everything is way more controlable, where as with a dry kit, you could end up with a pool of spraw ending up in only one cylinder, they you get detonation, pinging, and all that lovely crap. Wet kit = dry kit = also i'd recomend getting a remote bottle opener so ur not always crawlin in ur trunk for ur bottle.. and also a bottle warmer is a good idea too as for cost.. most shops charge 3$ per lb ex: 10lb bottle =$30
you have to ask yourself.. do you want the power 100% or just opertunity? if you want it 100% IMO.. go with a blower
now with all that said, it seems the most popular choice for mustang's is.. the supercharger, no worries with the law, looks F***in sweet sittin pretty in the engine bay, and the whine... and it's there when you want it, all the time the only downfall i ever hear is heat issues, and a fixed boost level.
Turbos require the most effort and for a good setup are quite the dime, but will be the biggest output in most (but not all) setups. with a turbo you are not fixed to a set boost level, with a boost controler it's easy to change, but i'll tell you from experience you'll want forged internals if you want to push the big numbers, my first mod to my TSI was an EVO3 16G turbo pushin 22PSI, man that thing put me in my seat, but I ended up thrashing my internals to hell... but now with everything into it.. and runnin at 24PSI safely, I've litterally kept up to a new Shelby GT500, best time on 1/4 mile is 12.2s
biggest thing you gotta ask is: how much money do you want to spend, and how often do you want the power?

1) in the passenger door (now u can't roll it down.. so what...)
2) spray paint all the solenoids and connectors black
3) wire it to your rear defrost button

the one thing i've noticed is the new ZEX kits use more of a bigger managment system than something like Nos, using one big solinoid rather than a few smaller ones.. just something to check out i guess
as for "hiding it" from your local's finest... build a special box for it, almost like a battery relocation kit, maybe intergrate it into a sub system, just as long as you can access it. building a box also helps protect from crap bouncing around in ur trunk or cabin and hitting it

oddly enough, there is no edit button, there is on the post below it, which puzzles me quite a bit.
also, if your car has a rollcage, try fabricating it to hold 1200 psi and put a filler nipple on it somewhere and fill the cage with spray =p

i just ordered a zex kit...wet means it is mixed with fuel before it goes into combustion chamber ...dry is sprayed in the intake...get a tuner...that will also help with your nitrous system by retarding the timing to avoid detonation and get the colder plugs from zex....they are made for nitrous....and on stock internals and fuel pump no bigger than a 150 shot....if you wanna bigger shot you NEED a bigger fuel pump
