American Muscle Tuner Bama

I'm getting my spring wish list together and was wondering about plug in tuners. American Muscle are offering this Bama Tuner with 3 custom tunes. Anybody have any experience with this? What are the advantages/disadvantages compared to going to say Steeda or Da Silva for a tune?

Thanks.

If you go to Dasilva for a tune you are still going to have to buy a tuner. Dasilva is pretty competitive right now with the dollar being what it is. Call Matt and see what he can do compared to AM.

I have there SCT SF3 with a C&L racer intake that I just bought but is not installed. It also came with three tunes (87 perf, 91 perf, and 91 race) which have the free tunes for life if I add any further power mods AM will create new tunes for free. I currently have a K&N CAI paired with a Predator tuner and Bamas 87 perf, 91 perf, and 91 race from before bama paired up with AM and all I have to say is you will not be disappointed. I cannot wait to install the new CAI and Tunes. I bought the SCT from AM because they have allot of experience tuning for the SCT and C&L intake so I wanted to try it out.

I think you will be happy with any of the reputable tuners. I went with AM because of the tunes for life and that I have delt with Doug from Bama since I had my 05.

Just an FYI, AM bought out Bama. Doug Studdart the guy who used to own Bama, and wrote the tunes doesn't work for them, so IMHO, the tunes won't be the same. This kinda sucks cause I have tunes from Bama before AM so when I need another tune I may have to check out JMP.

Haven't tried one, but a body of mine advised me to get the Diablosport Trinity T-1000 for my 2010. He said it is by far one of the best, if you have the proper tune. He did that a great mod for the 3v 4.6 is the C&L CAI.

Can you elaborate, i know what u said was str8 frwd , so your saying if i bought one from AM the only tunes i can possibly put on are from BAMA, there is no possible way to get 1 dyno tune from anywhere else?

Canned tunes are great if you live in an area with no Dyno Tuning this is the reason I went with the AM Bamma deal, All I'm going to say is read and reread the fine print... Last year I added a JLT CAI and sct tuner from AM approx $590 this gave me "Free Tunes for life" The tunes from Bamma worked out beyond belief, a really nice upgrade! Much more responsive and you could really fell the difference.
I upgraded this winter and added a M90,the cars computer has the stock Roush tune now.I then added the aftermarket CAI and instead of sending the CPU away to Roush once again, I thought to take advantage of my "Free Bamma tunes" After being approved for the free tunes on March 11 from AM I'm still waiting for the emailed tune.. so far Chris Rose has not returned my emails...He must be really busy. I have no luck with vendors lately...

Did you get the trinity 1000? Just wondering if its worth the added expence over the SCT3, and why?
