I was trapping 115 mph at 7100 rpms and 4.10s...... Were you on 28s?

I ran a 150 wet kit on my stock internal 5.0 and never had a problem. Just keep your eyes on the plugs for any signs of detonation. IIRC you need to put 1-2* of timing for every 50HP worth of N2O

SNAKEBITE ol buddy...stock 5.0 in a fox body 225 hp
even if you spray it with a 200 shot...= approx 425

the stock block is good for about 500..so 1979svo is still pretty safe with the 150 shot

Good to know. I don't know why but every time I think about somebody shooting Nitrous into their engine, all I think is KABOOOM Then again I dont know about the stuff, and probably never will, as I prefer the old school methods of producing power, like SuperChargers. Just personal preference.

On of our members CRAFTY (where the heck are ya CRAFTY?) did an awesome writeup on Nitrous. Check it out, it'll DEF answer some of your questions. While the write up is mainly for V6 engines, the information can be applied to V8s or any other engine, just adjust the size of the shots accordingly.
