You can't compare tunes over the internet.....I have seen the same car dynoed on 5 different dyno's make +- 20rwhp...too many factors can determine final dyno numbers.
well said paul most people would already know this comparing dyno numbers is a waste of time as every compo is different and the same for dyno's.

The mach 1 i tuned with spacer made like 275 on joes dyno (less than what it dynoed stock at splitfire) and when i was done it made like 295

No, not at all. Cobras put down alot more. I constantly read on the US forums how most of these guys are in the 400rwhp range. I guess its a more aggressive tune with lots of timing. No need to jack up the timing on a daily driver. Bob will probably install the 4 way chip anyways (unless he's already done it) and can have his choice of tunes.

400rwhp on 8psi is next to impssoble on a moderate tune on pump gas

My old GT at 10+ psi and Long Tubes made under 380 with Lidio's tune

I am actually referring to the Steeda Mustang. They had a 400hp version and a 425hp version that had a bullit intake. According to the magazine, Steeda claimed these cars were 8lbs and were rwhp numbers. If I could find the actual magazine, I will look it up.

Did the magazine quote the wrong numbers? Before the whole SCT tune thing, it seemed many Vortech/ Paxton owners ran the Steeda re-flash tune.

Anyone can lean out the A/F and increase timing for max power....those are what I call "tooners"

My cars are tuned for reliability, drivability and reasonable power....i want my customers to feel confident when going WOT for a while

That's the one Bob.

I have a 5.0L magazine where thay tested the Steeda with a Vortech and 8lbs of boost, it ran 12.3 at 117mph. They said it make 400hp at the rear wheels with no cooler and Ford would warranty the car for 3 years if Ford did the install. I guess it was 400hp at the crank which is about 340rwhp. You gotta love editorial mistakes in the publishing industry.
