When I put a k&n cai on my 01 Lightning it was louder after. My 04 Cobra had a cai also but the exhaust was so loud that that was all you could hear anyway.

My plan is to do this swap when time, funds, and bigger place permit.
I'd love to do it now,but with these times,i'm just glad for what i've got under the hood of my GT.It does the job for now.
But it would be sweet to pop the hood on my GT,and low,and behold a blown 4V is resting in the engine bay.
And thanks VAEM,i will keep you in mind when ever that time will come.

Yea, Vortech you can get straight cut gears and they have a wicked loud whine. That is what I run on my car. Its super obvious and doesnt leave you one ounce of stealthy-ness.

You can also just go timing gears and adds a bit of whine
