That's cool. You aren't putting me down. But I should hope I know what I am talking about. I am a mechanic.
But all I am saying is that I went 8 and I will not go back to a 6. However, Bob Clooney auto is where I saw the turbo 2002. And trust me. The turbo killed it. Melted the valves. And this isn't the first one like it I have seen. I almost bought a v6 s/c t-bird a few years back, but when I took it for a test run, I couldn't see in the rear view mirror from the smoke comming out of the exaust. And it had no power. The S/C had destroyed it.
But yes, the six can be done up nicely if done right. I have a magazine with a v6 pumping over 500 HP. But he had to change everything so the engine could handle it. So yes, you can get alot out if you put alot in. I have seen sixxers blow the doors off of 8's, But these 8's had hardly anything done to them. I have seen 8's done up to pump out between 800-1200 hp when done up right. A sixxer will not do that. With 2 less pistons, That is just plain physics. I should hope I am right, or I should turn in my mechanics ticket.
The price, that was just doing a search on everything I needed to get new. I didn't shop around. But I didn't want to do up my v6 because I wanted a better car. And I will never go back to a 6. There is just more power to play with, and so much more you can do to make it better.
My father was a Mopar man and I spent my whole life around american muscle. He owned a 68 shelby gt, 72 roadrunner(360), 71 challenger(318)(first car I drove) a 71 Chevelle(350), 86 vette, and I helped him rebuild a 72 speed demon(340 six pack). He now owns a 2002 limeted edition WS6.I have gone thru a few cars myself from 4cyl to 8. I rebuilt my old 79 350 camaro rally sport. Put a 400 turbo x-mission and 10 bolt posi track with shelby wheels taken from my father(I miss her) and I have to say, 8's are the rulers of every car my father and I have owned. I think any 8 cylinder owner will agree.

Vortech Superchargers offer an OEM-like quality, fit and finish. The kits fit like they were designed and installed by Ford. And the kits come complete with everything you need for the installation including auxiliary fuel pump and all hardware.
