Will a 5.0L S/C fit a 5.8

I've been looking for a couple of 5.8L kits and have turned up with a Paxton supercharger kit for a 69 style Windsor. I have a 79 block and was wondering if a 5.0L bracket would fit, or if I'm stuck with custom made brackets? I superchargers I want to ran are either: Procharger F1-A, Vortech YSI, or a Paxton race blower (not sure what it's called). Any info would be helpful.

I think it will come down to the brackets being custom made. I recall someone asking a similar question years ago and that was the answer they got.

I think the one issue as well was one of the brackets was cast and would have been hard to replicate.

I am sure someone will give you a much more thorough and guided answer than I can.

For anyone who may have had the same question, a simple timing chain change to one that will accept the same water pump that is on the 87-93 5.0l mustang will do. Then you just purchase yourself a kit for a 5.0L and your good to go!
