Ash Tray Spring

Hey guys i was wondering if someone had an ash tray spring they dont need anymore lol for an 87-93 stang

I fixed mine last year, drove past a shop with a dead stang, turned around stopped and the dude gave me the spring for free. Depending on where you are, a spring shouldn't be difficult to find.

i tried for years to find one for my 88 and every other stang i looked at had the same problem...this was definitely a problem for these cars and i ended up buying a kit from a Mustang shop on line...

A friend of mine had the same problem, he just took it out and straightened the spring out and it worked good as new.

Worth a shot...

I guess some people have the luck lol well see the thing is i cant straighten the spring cause there is no spring to be straightened lol

but i dont need the whole thing just the spring, the rest is just a waste of money...o well thanks for the link tho i guess i will eventually have to do it but it can wait...i just bought an MGW shifter should be comming in a week
