I went to the dealer today, two of them. all give me a price $26588 including everything, which is the price shown on ford.ca quote. They say they gave me the employee price which is the invoice so that is the lowest price. Is that true? cannot get a cheaper price on my 2012 v6 value leader(basic)? thanks

The price $26588 is exactly what shows on ford.ca 's quote. On the web page under this price, it says:"you may get a lower price form a dealer". The dealer do not even give me a $1 off on the original price.

Whatever, thank you so much for ur time here. I will order my car in this week. it takes 6-10 weeks to ship the car. oh~~my~~~

Don't feel bad if your getting a brand new 300hp '11 V6 'Stang for $26588. There's a dude selling a used one with 20k for 3 grand more, although it's a convertible. The key word is "you MAY get a lower price from a dealer" not "you WILL get a lower price from a dealer". Glad we could be of help , keep us in the loop as to how things are going and post up some pictures when your car shows up!!

It's supply and demand.

I paid $31,xxx plus tax for my '05 GT hard top in May of '05 bare bones (had leather seats and that was it).
At that time the new '05's were THE HOTTEST car on the market. The couldn't make them fast enough.

I got my '08 GT vert, fully loaded (including Shaker 1000) for the same price (almost to the dollar) in June of '08.
And yes I got a decent trade-in for the '05.

Both cars were demos off the lot.

2007 value leader here, bought new in Aug 2007 for $24,018 plus taxes. Mine is sooo base, it came with 16" wheels, and doesn't even have ABS or TCS. Value leaders aren't that easy to find. The price of a base model has actually dropped a couple of grand since then.

Actually since 2009 the prices started to climb back up on the 500's and a 12 will go for the low to mid 60's now. I am no expert but this will only help bring the price of the used 500 up or keep them flat for the moment. Of course I am speaking of a real low miler in minty shape
