I know that some forums are pretty harsh on posting links to another site, but the mods here aren't jerks, so in the interest of helping out the OP, here is a good place to look for anything 4.0 related: http://www.mustangcollective.com/

I'm not sure if there is anything for sale right now, but superchargers, and turbo kits come up fairly often there. Vortech/paxton, procharger, and explorer express (eaton) all make supercharger kits, and there are a few places also offering turbo kits for the 4.0.
Personally, I went with the Explorer Express X-charger (4th generation Eaton MP-90) on mine, and I am very happy with the huge boost in torque.

Dude, that is one purty setup under the hood of that car - show AND go!! lol I don't know how you can keep that so clean and shiny, but it looks fantastic with the red. Your plate may say otherwise, but R-E-S-P-E-C-T. bro!

Thanks, A.P.. I use Plexus for detailing under the hood, and on any plastics on the car. It works great for removing bugs from your grille, mirrors and bumper cover, and leaves black plastic looking clean and black without that greasy feeling that armor all type products give. It also gives new depth to head and tail light lenses. Most motorcycle shops carry it. amazing stuff.

I jump on the underhood cleaning from day one and I find this really helps. Oh that and no driving in the rain, snow etc etc. We could start a club called "the under the hood gang" :lol

LOL, the under the hood gang... Maybe worth a sticky in the pictures section.

SNAKEBITE 08-21-2011 03:34 PM

good call lol

krakolos, if you are still watching this thread, there is a complete turbo kit, and an X-Charger supercharger kit for sale on the site I posted above. Both are asking $3000.

SNAKEBITE 09-05-2011 11:42 AM

seems more than reasonable

Just in case you're still watching this thread, here is a smokin' deal... the lowest price I've ever seen on one of these units.

Yeah, if start it off by keeping it clean everywhere, it's a lot easier to keep it that way.:tup

Can you buy this stuff as a single can or do you have to buy a case? Also would this be something found at NAPA Autoparts?

The only places that I have seen carry it on a regular basis are motorcycle shops. It is usually $20+ for the large can, but is well worth it. A can goes a long way.
