I know you mentioned about negative comments, but your ad is somewhat misleading. Any potential powertrain issues with this car stopped being covered by the powertrain warranty as soon as the supercharger was installed. Sad but true, and I would be more than happy to be proven wrong, but I don't think any dealer would touch it and have the warranty cover it......

That's not entirely true...it depends on the dealer and the customer concern.
I work for a Ford dealer in Toronto.
If the fault/defect is a result from the installation of a supercharger, Ford will not pay the claim. If you have an unrelated transmission/engine problem, it's at the discretion of the dealer to decide whether or not to claim it thru Ford warranty. Most dealers are a-holes when it comes to this sort of thing...if you have a blower installed, and you're complaint is for a worn balljoint, some dealers will kick you to the curb. Just depends on who you land on. We are fairly leanient here - and understand that a supercharged car doesn't create every single problem that the customer has brought it in for.

Fair enough.....well said. Good luck with the sale-must be difficult to put that much work into your car and make the decision to sell. Someone's going to get a good deal!!

06GTPONY 06-08-2009 08:40 AM

Buying a house and settling down now.
Had to make the (difficult) decision to get rid of the car.
Going to buy a crappy beater in it's place. LOL

Nice ride, and a good price, for someone who understands what you have put into it. Speaking from personal experience, you will always look back on that car and remember it fondly. Too bad you have to sell it, but I assume your priorities have changed. Women will do that to/for you. Best of luck.

Yes, the car is still available.

VAEM 06-17-2010 08:52 PM

I'm shocked! I would have thought this car would have sold a long time ago. Its spotless AND its already got boost. Most guys buy a Mustang only to START saving for a blower. Good luck with the sale Pal - she really is a beautiful ride. If I didn't already have 2 Mustangs in the garage I'd have thrown out an offer.

I'm in no hurry to sell the car...so I'm not really discouraged that the car isn't gone yet. I've had a lot of "tire kickers" out there with low-ball cash offers, and offers to trade...but nobody serious yet.

Oh well, she will sell in time I guess.
