1965 Mustang Coupe Owned for 35 years
Hello,
I am selling my 1965 Mustang Coupe that I have owned Since before 1980!
I purchased it from an Auto Mechanics teacher in the Niagara Region who had purchased it from a local Ford Parts Manager. Stored since 1999 and brought into serviceable/reconditioned life over the past year in Ottawa!

1966 289 Engine – unbored, new rings, bearings, push rods, Competition Cam XE256H (complete kit K31-234-3) [C5AE-6015E 6G21], matching date heads (valves ground, new seals, double springs, keepers, ARP Head Bolts)
[289 66 6E4], 1968 4V manifold [C8ZE-9425-A 7M1] and new Edelbrock 600 CFM Performer Carburetor and In-Line Filter, electric choke,
new flexplate and balancer, High Flow Water Pump, new fuel pump, PerTronix III D134600 black cast distributor and coil [electronic
ignition and cast look], new engine mounts, balancer, flexplate. Engine compression good. A bit rougher idle due to cam and some
louder lower end noise. Possibly a great engine base for machining and stroking out to a 347!
C4 Transmission – Rebuilt by Lentech Automatics Inc, Sept 2014, new Torque Converter, new transmission mount, restored shifter unit. [C4AP-7A040C BK RF-C5AP ]
Power Steering – HCC-AX C5ZZ-3504-C
Removable Carrier Axle-Ford 8” – WCZ-E Ratio 2.80:1
New Tires - Size – P195/75R14
All new stainless steel brake, fuel, transmission lines, and fuel sending unit (linear scale type).
New radiator (3 Row) and cooling components.
New Master Cylinder and brakes, hardware, hoses,... (except for the drums), rebuilt brake booster by Power Brake Booster Exchange Inc.
New AGM period correct battery and cables. Several new wiring harnesses. Older dual exhaust.
Recent rebuild during 2014/2015...Too many new parts and components to list...
Older paint and vinyl top in 1988. Some trim has minor dents. Bumpers are original and need re-chroming to complete.
Car has not been driven or licensed to drive since 1999.
