1973 Mustang Convertible - $19,600
1973 Ford Mustang Convertible (83,000 mi) with the original 302 V-8 engine, C4 Cruise-O-Matic transmission, bright yellow paint, black Sebring knit/corinthian vinyl bucket seats, consul, power steering, color keyed racing mirrors, AM radio, power front disc brakes, factory tach, power black vinyl top w/glass rear window, 14” Magnum 500 Wheels w/Radial T/A Tires,
Currently has Collectors Plates. Car is 99% original. I even have the original bias ply tires with rims & hubcaps as well as original owner’s manual. Certificate from Marti’s Auto works and original receipt from Ford Motor Company to Fogg Motors where care was purchased. Marti reports states only 105 1973 Mustang Convertibles were shipped to Pacific Canada that year.
Have all receipts for work done back to 1978. Car has rarely been driven in the rain or winter and stored inside year round.
Car was professionally appraised in 2005 at $25,000. Here are some comments from the appraiser:
“Hoist inspection reveals far above average condition. No rust noted and no damage noted. Original factory undercoat is in place. Minor road use detailing only required. Excellent for long term use and collectors investment.”
“Overall condition and appearance of vehicle is far above average and mainly original. Exceptionally well preserved “survivor class” vehicle. Excellent collector’s investment model that will continue to appreciate if present condition is maintained.”
