4 - 15" Pony rims and rubber. Need winter rims?
I am selling my second set (the better condition) of pony 15" rims, come with rubber.
$350 O.B.O.
They're off my 2000 V6 and are 5 bolt pattern.
I have too many sets of rims in my garage.

I'm definately interested here. Just wanna make sure on some things first though.
1. Are these winter tires or all season?
2. What shape are they in?
3. Well they fit my 2002 V6 3.8L?
4. Where are you located, I'm in Montreal. (whats the shipping like from where you are)
5. Last but not least, are 15 inches in winter better the 17's?
That should cover it all, thanks.

I upgraded to 17" this summer so I do not need these any longer. I purchased these off someone who did the same. Used these in the summer only. In the winter time, when you want to stay on top of the snow, you put on a snow shoe. Snow shoes have a large area to prevent you from falling down into the snow & prevents you from cutting through the snow. My personal opinion the smaller the tire the better chance for cutting through the snow and getting down to the pavement.

For anyone that wants to debate my answer to #5, go ahead. It is my personal opinion. I had 17"s on my MarkVIII (all seasons) and I never had a sliding event in the winter but my logic says what I wrote above. Again the Lincoln was MUCH heavier than my V6 so that would be an interesting debate.

Ray, narrow tires vs. wide oval (old school) go through snow better. Ford's Model "A" would go through a foot of snow (and mud) like a 4X4. Unless the lugs are cleared on each revolution wide tires suck in the snow, ice and rain soaked roads. Rim height does not have alot of influence went talking traction.
