73 Mustang MACH1
For Sale - 1973 Mustang Mach1
brought this car up from North Carolina a year ago, and have lost interest in it. I have built and installed a new 460 engine, balanced rotating assembly, new 30 over 10:1 KB pistons, FRPP Aluminum CJ heads, custom Cam from Cam Research, new Weiand Stealth intake with freshly rebuilt Holley 750 vac sec Carb... nothing but the best in this strong rebuild. Engine was built for low end torque, and has a nice idle (not lopey and bumpy).
Has a C6 with shift kit and stock stall converter, 9" posi rear with 3.50 gears, trac bars, 15" Cragar Draglite rims, new front tires, rears are excellent but not new.
Brakes excellent.
I have new carpets, dash pad, door panels and rear sail pieces all new in the box ready to be installed to make the interior perfect.
There is one minor rust spot, and the car could use a decent paint job, but looks good from 30 feet. Good driver and easy restoration to complete if you need perfection.
Really it just needs paint to be a really nice car.
Was certified last March, and I will certify again for the right money.
This car is VERY fast, so no test pilots please.... serious buyers only.
Currently has an exhaust leak on the headers which doesn't make it sound very nice, but new headers on order ($800).
Will consider trade for 17-18' aluminum side console or dual console fishing boat c/w motor & trailer.
I am not asking alot for this car , as it needs some work but if you know these cars, then you know they are continuing to go up at an alarming rate, and the Mach1's are probably the most desirable of these Mustangs.
$15,000 OBO
