A customer who came in to the dealership a few weeks ago has an interesting car he would like to sell. It is an 81 Mustang that has had a convertible conversion done when the car was new. Fox Mustangs were not otherwise available as a convertible until 1983. He purchased the car used from a dealer in Toronto, and was told that the car was one of 25 authorized by Ford of Canada that year. We're trying to verify that with Ford of Canada, but it may not be possible. In any case, it is a unique car for an early Fox enthusiast.

It has 25,462 km, and is very clean inside and out, never winter driven. The car is pewter silver on the outside, with a black interior and top. It has new Michelin tires on the factory TRX wheels. 4.2L 255 CID V-8 (same engine family as the 5.0), auto. trans. PS, PB, PW.

The car is located in Nobleton, northwest of Toronto. The owner is a very nice elderly gentleman who no longer has much use for the car, and does not use the Internet. So I took some photos of the car, and offered to post up the info here on his behalf.
