Good luck with your build. I have not had a custom stereo since 1991 when i spent a total of 6000.00 for the stereo and install on my 90GT. That is without a doubt the worst 6g I ever spent, the stereo was great but did not get a dime when I traded her in. lesson learned. Mind you if you can do most of the work that will save a ton of dough as my install 20 years ago was 1100.00

Thanks for the feedback. Yea, that was a total custom setup. Won't go that extreme ever again. Hadn't done it in 15 years, why I decided to do it again, don't know. Its nice to have but is costly and just sucks when it isnt operating perfect like mine (parasitic drain).
