Head Unit

My shaker 500 piled up and keeps saying cd error. It wouldn't be so bad but it keeps flipping through trying to do something and is really annoying. Should I get it fixed or look aftermarket? Any suggestions. Is it a pain to get an aftermarket unit to work with the factory amps? I don't need Nav but the touch screen units are nice. If someone had a factory Nav system they changed out I would be all over it.

Do you still have warranty. I personally use Sirius 99.99% of the time but only when not driving, otherwise I tune into MagnaFlows in stereo

Under warranty, fix.

Aftermarket is ok, but again, if you have the warranty get it resolved and you can still go to aftermarket after. If you ever sell the car you can replace with the stocker

Warranty is expired on my car. I don't have factory Sirius either so I wouldn't be giving anything up going aftermarket. The aftermarket units have better Ipod hookups and bluetooth so that is probably the way I'll go.
