End of year clean-up

I know there must be some real detailing guru's here as I've seen some of the pictures of your rides.

My car is stored for the winter, anything I should do before hand besides wash?

Wash, Wax, Car Cover, Over half a tank and premium Fuel with a Stabilizer. some people like to pump up the tires a little.. Remove your battery and keep it inside and charged. Cover exhuast tips so little critters don't find a home.

and start waiting for spring

The wait is definately the worst part!

I like to do an ouil change prior to storage as well, although not necessary, I'm just picky about certain things. :o

I like to keep a chair in the garage next to the car so I have somewhere to sit while waiting out the cold loooooong winter. :bang

For storage with a car cover I recommend carnauba wax. Any one will do. Carnauba is thick and will protect from micro marring. My personal favorite for storage is Meguiars #16, Its a hard wax and is real thick.
