Oh wait.. you have an 07. The mach 460 has 5x7 all around from 94-04.

I'm trying to find out what the newer ones have.

wow here... very informative. But still doesn't help for the newer Gen Mustangs.

Mach 460 Information

I think this is it..."Front upper door panel locations (2 car door) and rear deck are 6x8 2 way with a small woofer and a tweeter built into a 6x8 speaker plate. Front lower panel locations are 8 inch subs. These subs are driven by 2 amps that are in the front kick panels. The Shaker 500 system with the stock head unit produces 500 watts at max power. The head unit also has speed volume adjustment so the volume increases as the vehicle goes faster." ..does this sound correct ???

The 6x8s have the same fitment as the 5x7s to.

Mods can clean this thread up abit if theres to much jib jab in here for a pinned topic.

Can you change the 8 inch subs to a tweeter and woofer ? I am absolutely ignorant when it comes to this stuff..

I dont see why not.. if you can get to the signal wires you can invest in a componant system that you like

Great pictures, BTW.

So the bottom one is the sub woofer ? can you make it a real speakeer. I find the stsem too muddy.

My second speaker is just about the woofer.

Boy, things were easier in the "old daz"
