ohh yea of course you can. it also means less wiring (just the speaker needed not all three parts) Just make sure you get the right size. :) Most now come with a tweeter you can aim anyhow, so if you aim it upwards towards yourself you'll almost get the same effect. :tup

It's more of a midrange woofer. Basically what comes in a component. Those look lke 6.5s unless the angle of the shots are catching me off guard... what size are they?

in mine. they are 7x5's

Sorry i really dont know what im doing but if I were to just wire a new head unit to the same factory wires and get a new amp that also wired into the factory wires and new speakers same thing... Would that work? Any suggestions for amps if so? Also can I just bypass the amp if I get a new head unit. The wires still run straight from the head unit to the speakers right?
