It's spring... It's time for something new...

Alright so I've been hibernating all winter. But now it's time to play. With spring around the corner I still had not made up my mind if I was going to modify my car or what. But as we all know, it's hard to resist the bug. Especially at this time of year. So I tossed around the idea of a small nitrous system for giggles, or maybe swapping for steeda's street wing with carbon fiber winglets to jazz up the rear a bit. But then it dawned on me what I would like 2011. In-dash navigation and Ipod support. I plan on driving out to the west coast at the end of August with my Mustang so what better way to entertain myself. The unit I'm going with is Pioneer's AVIC-Z120BT. I picked it up the other day from Visions and will likely get it installed in the coming weeks (weather pending). I wont be doing the install myself. I did the research, so I sort of know what's involved in mating it with the factory Shaker 1000 but I have little desire to fool around with it. Best to leave it to the pro's.

Look forward to seeing the usual suspects this summer!

Just a light dusting of snow hey?

Nick will be able to play with his new gadget sooner than later hopefully, based on the melting going on today.

Wow sucks for you guys. It was beautiful here yesterday and today I have been out on the driveway doing some tweeks to the car in shorts and a t shirt. Sorry I had to rub it in. We don't get that opportunity very often up here in the north. lol.

Har har! Yes! Jen and I are doing great!! We've been dating for almost 7 months now and she's just the kinda girl I've been looking for! Everything is well over here :-)

Now back to topic! I have the stereo installed! It really brought the factory shaker1000 speakers to life! Especially the door panel subwoofers. I'll post a couple pics tonight. I got in late last night because the girlfriend and I went for a cruise around town to try it out! Overall impressions so far are good. The voice control of the ipod is perfect. Trying to navigate with voice seems to be a bit of a process. But I'm sure I'll figure it out. But yah, pics to come!
