just claybarred now what?

In April on one of those beautiful days I claybarrd my '05 GT. I then used a paint cleaner and then wax (3M). It was as smooth as new.
My car is a daily driver and sleeps in the garage. I usually pull it into the garage as soon as I get home.
I was washing the car the other day and found the same grit covering the upper surfaces of the car. Windsor air quality.
I hesitate to clay the car again as it looks like it could be a monthly job and surely this would ruin the paint. Is there anything else I can do to fix this. I've got a great shine but that grit errrr!

Thanks

Mike

Other than getting a car cover you should be able to get away with weekly washings and than a good spray wax/detailer to quickly go over the car. I just clayed mine last week and put 5 coats of wax and now it is under a cover. If I left it out it would get that gritty feeling that you are speaking of. Try a good wash , do not use a detergent as that will take all the wax off and that gritty stuff with stay. Good luck wih the car.

As far as I know you should not need to use a paint cleaner after the clay bar. Just re-wash and wax. In between washings I also use a quick detailer.

Doing clay bar again will not hurt your paint, it just removes the grit and brake dust burnt into your paint.
I would clay it again. Just my opinion.
