Krown/Rust Check do that to get the solution inside the body panels/doors, and then plug off the holes with plastic caps. Couple bucks more for the initial application, but piece of cake after that.

They drill holes so they can insert the applicator rods. After spraying they plug the holes up with rubber plugs.I couldn"t watch as they drilled holes in my new truck!

I watched every moment when they drilled each and every hole in my GT and felt nothing. In fact, it made me feel good to know my investment was getting some much needed winter protection, kinda like putting a big spray on condom on your car. ha ha ha Better alternative than seeing the rust break out years down the road - there isn't even any rust on the raw metal on the holes they drilled. That's how effective it seems to be. |
Sorry,I didn't see your thread when I replied.

No need to apologize - just bustin' chops.

Same here, the holes didn't bother me one bit.Besides,it's not like they are drillng 5 holes in your doors,or rockers, ects.LOL!They drill for clean accessibily to get to the areas, and as few many holes as possible to keep a clean professional look at the sametime, unless the owner would like extra holes to get into certain areas a little better, but with Krown, their stuff creeps anyways.

It's Protectoil for me. I had an Acura for 10 years and no rust. I go with what I have seen with my own eyes and that made me a believer! I drove it winters too!
Now just had the new Mustang GT done and I noticed there was no need for drilling in hood or trunk, as they have conveniently placed holes there already by Ford! It's the best way to go if your gong to expose your ride to any kind of snow or winter driving! Even that winter salt dust when it's dry during winter. I had mine done at Cobra Car www.cobra1.com |
