Well I placed an order 3 days ago with American Muscle, and can't wait for the parts to arrive. Here's what I ordered, the side scoops, side window Elanor style scoops, and GT500 spoiler, all pre-painted.

Yeah, for some reason now I'm second guessing myself on the side scoops i picked, but we'll see how they look once they're on. :?

nice!!! been thinking about the side scoops also.But I dont really care about just holding them in place with 3M tape.At high speeds they will detach..

A fella in town has them, and said he has had his up to 240 a few times and they still seem tight, so we'll see I guess......Anybody have any experiences with these coming off at high speeds???

I've been thinking about the spoiler for mine as well. I can't decide between it or the pedestal style. Post some pics up when you get it all done :tup

From what I've read online about them as long as you apply them properly, that is use the 3m prep and such you will be fine.

As for flying off, no worries as def67 said its all in the prep!

I think the GT500 spoiler should be a must for the '05 plus, and the '10 plus stangs, and that is coming from a guy who like the spoilerless look LOL.:tup

The pedestal style on the 10 up is pretty sweet though. Much nicer than 05-09 IMO.

Well I just received an email from American Muscle, and even though the GT500 spoiler showed "in stock", they are actually out of stock right now, so it will be an additional 2-3 weeks.:banghead: Oh well I'm hoping it's worth the wait, cause I love that spoiler and don't want to settle for something else.

3d carbon makes the same spoiler and they paint to match. You can get their stuff from any Ford dealer too. Might be a little quicker.

I called AM today, and they figure they will have it shipped in about 2 weeks. Not too bad I guess.

Now if you could get a shot, say a 3/4 view from the front passenger side, spittin' rubber & smoke all over the front end of a Camaro, yeah, that's it, a Camaro, yeah, now THAT would make a great desktop wallpaper . . . I'm just sayin' . . . :LOL:

Parts delivered to my wifes work @ 08:01 this a.m. Just the side scoops and quarter window louvers. Spoke with Jeff at AM and the GT500 spoiler will be shipped within the week. :D:D:D

No I ordered it all at the same time, but they didn't have the spoiler in, so now I wait.

If those are the OEM side scoops, we put on the same. No problem with stick. We've got the same spoiler also. It was easy to install, but the original was difficult to remove. The entire thing is 3M tape.

Thanks Guys! I was super excited when I ordered it all, and then when they arrived I started having doubts, but the wife and my boys said it would look great, so on they went, and now I'm glad I did. :D

They do do a great job paint matching!

Well I should have been posting pics of the GT500 spolier on my car, but when it arrived on Friday I was surprised to see that the spoiler was damaged.:banghead: I called AM and sent them pics on Friday, and the new one was shipped out the same day......should be here Friday this week. I hope there's no damage this time!

Not good, especially when you're so excited about getting something. Hopefully you get the new one quickly, but seems odd that it took so long for that one, but yet they have another one in stock ready to send immediatly????

Yes they had some in stock, so one was sent out immediately. When I ordered the first one they were out of stock, and I had to wait over a month to recieve it, only to find it was damaged...what a piss off! Not AM's fault though, it was obviously caused during shipping, as the package was opened and resealed once with different packing tape! :banghead:

That sucks. Thats the good thing about AM though - new one in the mail ASAP. Great service.
