maintainance of top and leather
#11
^^^^^ thanks Ronnie06Gt. I've been looking for RAGGTOPP but can't find it.
As for taking care of the top, I usually use a good vacuum with a strong suction on it regularly. Use a tool with a brush head ( hard floors), not the one that's for carpeting. Make sure the brush head is clean. I use a shopvac with the long tubes attached to make it easier to reach. I open the top halfway and get in all the creases at the back and sides ( drip rails? ). Use the small attachment ( mines round) with hair on it. I've also used those lint pickup rollers on it if I'm in a hurry ( for fluff, white lint, etc.). Give it a good light spray with the hose afterwards to get it wet and let it stand for a few minutes ( soak in). But be very, careful NOT to use too much force. I go over it this way a few times making sure it's rinsed well. Then I wash the rest of the car. Not sure about yours, but mine doesn't get driven in the rain. Hope this helps.

Your welcome BLKnRD09gt.
Great minds must think alike. Your top cleaning routine is pretty much what I do before the RAGGTOPP cleaning and protectant go on.

I use Raggttop cleaner on the GT it has the vinyl roof then apply http://www.eshine.ca/poorboys_trim_r...833.php?cat=13 for the shelby I avoid using soap, just water.. after it's dry I use a sticky lint roller. Seems to work well for me!
