The first Mustang was sold by Harry Phillips to an airplane pilot In Newfoundland Canada!

I betcha want to know how the V6 Sport by Steve Saleen came about ... And why it only lasted 1 year. (Any takers?)

Those are pretty rare (less than 50 cars IIRC), and 1994 , I believe. I don't know much about them, so do tell.

Another funny story. Saleen Performance placed an order of Mustangs from Ford - they mistakenly placed the order for V6 Mustangs (LX) instead of GT Mustangs. They tried to return the cars to no avail. So, the "V6 Sport by Steve Saleen" was born - but it was short lived. The cars were available for just one model year - just long enough to sell off their stock of 6-ers. Too bad too. It was an interesting concept and one that Shelby and others would jump on years later.
