how much does it cost for a really good to great paint job these days?

 

Scuff and paint about 1500$ plus materials. Bit it all depends on how much body work has to be done.

 

wow I wish we could get paint work done that cheap around here. I was quoted $400 2 days ago to paint a new front bumper.

 

Yeah that does seem really cheap I mean super duper cheap. I thought 7000.00-10,000.00 or even more.

 

its not that expensive really. 400$ to do the bumper is about average. i only charge 250 to paint and install new bumper. price goes up depending on how much work is to be done (if you want the old bumper fixed). bumper repair glue and putty are expensive. most body shops will tell you paint is expensive, but its not. it would cost about thirty bucks to paint a bumper. thats it. the rest the shop puts in their pocket. the most ive ever charged for one car was 5500$ but it took me almost a month to get done and had huge dents, rust and a bunch of welding to do to the floors and trunk.

 

finally laid some clear. starting to come together. starting to get impatient. Nice weather is coming.
