Polishing intake
If i wanted to Polish my stock upper intake manifold, what should i use?
also if i wanted to paint the plenimum, then smooth off the lettering what would i use and what type of paint? high heat manifold paint??? |
on my 04'GT i used several differant sanding wheels on a die grinder smoothed things out pretty nice thumb:

Yeah, that would be your best bet, to use a die grinder, or one of those sets from crappy tire. With the flexible extension on it. Good luck to you.

I used to use a place called 'The Polish Shop '
in Brampton, 905-799-2386 I haven't called him years,don't know if he's still around. |
Well, thanks for the help everone. I think im going to attempt it myself,. I'm going to try a spot on my 86 intake and see how it looks, then go to the 89 if it works well.
If i decide to paint it instead, what paint would i use, does it have to be like a high heat manifold paint? |
