Polishing intake

Polishing intake

If i wanted to Polish my stock upper intake manifold, what should i use?

also if i wanted to paint the plenimum, then smooth off the lettering what would i use and what type of paint?

high heat manifold paint???

on my 04'GT i used several differant sanding wheels on a die grinder smoothed things out pretty nice

Yeah, that would be your best bet, to use a die grinder, or one of those sets from crappy tire. With the flexible extension on it. Good luck to you.

I used to use a place called 'The Polish Shop '
in Brampton, 905-799-2386

I haven't called him years,don't know if he's
still around.

Well, thanks for the help everone. I think im going to attempt it myself,. I'm going to try a spot on my 86 intake and see how it looks, then go to the 89 if it works well.

If i decide to paint it instead, what paint would i use, does it have to be like a high heat manifold paint?

hey talk to this guy hes by car the master polisher that ive ever seen his name on the board is lxexpress, i dont know if he will tell ya the secrets or not but talk to him and see

You can also talk to Jumpy or JMP same guy.Usually on the gtamc board comes here to.He knows his stuff.He's done some work for bottlfed's car I do believe.

Yea, shinnyiest i have ever seen. I dont think i have that kind of patience thought, might just give it a fresjh coat of paint
