Thanks herbz, and thetrousertrout.
Engine mods are VT engines stage II cams (now Cushman cams), comp valve springs, '01 Bullitt ported intake, Cobra throttle body,Steeda pulleys, JLT cai, which all flows threw a bassani catted x pipe and flowmaster 40 series "originals" catback, and SCT curtom dyno tune. Works pretty good.

As for the hood struts, not sure on the specs, but i can let you know a little later.

Sorry i'm a little late on the response for the hood struts. Finally brought my measuring tape home tonight.
Open it's 20 1/2 inches
Closed it's roughly 13 1/2 inches

Thank you 1LOW03GT.
Strong arm part number 4279 should work great for this application
500mm extended (19.6") 300mm compressed (11.8") approx 95 foot pounds to collapse. Ball end on both ends so finding attaching hardware will be extremely easy at wrecking yards! Should be able to find them for around $25 each locally or about $10-15 each on E-bay. Strong arm is sold at Canadian Tire for ease of locating them.
Looks like I have another project for my car!
