Some outdoor shots after FOUR COATS of polish

19 Attachment(s)
After my recent detailing post, I had a lot of requests for some outdoor shots in some natural lighting. OP Delivers!

3 Coats of Zaino Z5 and 1 Coat of Zaino Z2 - Never done by hand :)
Applied using a Porter Cable 7424XP coupled with Lake Country Black and Blue CCS Pads.

Shots were taken using Sony NEX-5R with a kit lens and a Canon 50mm Lens

That there is one sexy beast! Nice ride!

Crazy man, it looks even better outside.

Looks Great. Every quiet neighborhood needs a beast!

Just finished doing mine using Meguiar's Compound W, Polish and Ultimate Wax all applied with the Meguiar's Dual-Action Polisher.

looks great. My best was 10 coats from 5pm Fri - Sun 6pm. I was tired after that stint. I have done this 3 times over the years so when only doing it 4 or so times a week it was a snap. With my present condition I am taking it in once a month for a power polish that will cost me 130.00 per. Well worth it these days

The polish job looks incredible, but I LOVE the stance of your pony man. Mean lookin

Thanks everyone :D

Heres a quick video showing the stance, + CLEARANCE ISSUES lol

DublDee 05-11-2013 08:55 AM

The stance does look great, but yeah I can see where you would have some clearance issues. Unfortunately I will never be able to drop mine to that level...I would never get off my block.

VAEM 05-11-2013 09:56 PM

Looks fantastic. Nice job! :tup

Do the louvers on the rear side windows affect visibility at all?

Yes very much so.
That coupled with a 5% Tint on the windows = Neck twisting, blindspot checking, careful lane changing precision.

That's not good (for me at least). I have no vision in my right eye so am already turn my head a LOT to drive.

I must say however that the side view mirrors on this vehicle (07 V6 Coupe) are enormous and VERY good.

Thanks for the info. I'll pass on those, although they look amazing.

Definitely can't recommend it in your situation then. I can barely see out of the slits in the louvers.
