Looks freakin sweet!!
I have similar issue as you,but it's the top of my struts that are touching the bottom side of my hood.Due to my ride hide,and C&C set up,i have to live with it.:bleh: |

I myself like them non functional when the vents sit over the engine,something to do with weather,rain,or just all around trying to keep the engine bay clean LOL.Mine hoddès vents are faux aswell.
