Stereo Setups

Im really having a hard time figuring out a way to put my subs in my car, It came with dual 12" Alpine type E's They are just in your off the shelf box and I want to make it so that they are behind the seats facing the interior, I guess my issue is going to be making the box. I want to maximize my space in my trunk but keep the 2 12"s and the mono alpine block. Any suggestions, examples pics etc??

Im pretty hands on and would prefer to do it myself. Im not affraid of Fibreglass either but Id prefer an MDF Solution. The idea in my head is one or a split box facing the inside of the car, having the box shaped enough to go up onto the wheel wells and if its just one box that the back is boxed in so when you look at it, it doenst look like anything is there unless you fold down the seat, and hten I was going to somehow mount the amp either up on top of the box, or somehow in between the rear speakers.
My problem is everytime I go look at how I want it, I cant figure out how I can make the box and then get it into the trunk, and if I build it in the trunk it will be harder to get it sealed. The subs only need .6 to 1.25 Cu feet, according to their specs, and I only have 150 Watt RMS mono block driving them both, so I would think I could get away with 1 CU foot or a bit less

Concepts on Wheels did mine about 5-6 weeks ago.

2 10" subs...2 Alpine amps...I saw a Chevelle at Speedorama than had this type of set up....showed them a pic and siad that's the way I want it...symetrical and still room for a case of beer :4:

add a little leather...some carpet...and a hatch door for a hidden detailing supply compartment...and she's done....sorry...some pics are blurry

2000BLK Gt, your trunk is my idol... i just bought a JL 1000/1 amp and probably will have a trunk setup simlar to yours, mainly the subs...anyways my question is how much did you pay to get that trunk done.. dont include prices of the actual subs and amps.. jus the trunk customization bill.... thanks alot bud..
