Another terrific product is Zep Citrus cleaner, you can get it at Home Depot for under $12 for a gallon jug. Use it full strength on the engine but can diluted 50:1 plus for lighter dirt / grease. Works out very cheap to use and works best with one of their industrial spray bottles.
