Tire Dressing
What do you guys use on your tires? I'm not looking for extreme shine, just nice and clean and as black as possible.

AutoGlym Instant Tyre Dressing Leaves a Matte finish with NO fling :tup

Yes Auto Glym....they actually make a lot of good products. I use their wax too.:tup

I have used everything from baby oil (crazy I know) to ArmourAll, Meguires, BlackMagic etc etc etc etc and the best by far is the AutoGlym tyre dressing.
|
Armour All Tire shine is junk. It attracts dust like crazy. I might have to try AutoGlym, I've tried all the different Armour All shines, Turtle Wax and some others and they are all the same, super shiny and greasy.

For the guys that do not have lots of experience with tire dressing, to cut the shine and chances of fling let it set up as long as possible and wipe it off before driving and voila
|
I use Meguires right now.But i'm not to picky.
|
Thanks for the input guys. I'll pick some Auto Glym up tomorrow.

With black the fling is easy to spot and a pain in the ass to wipe off. If you can apply once you get to the show and the best is to stay for several hours before wiping. With my black rims I find that after wiping, the tires are very black with no shine. Oh remember you do not need to use tons of the stuff re spray a light coat and if you find you need more apply again. For the ultimate in neatness spray the product on a rag and apply this way as it will save you having to wipe off the rims or body panels.
