Good Tip, Snake Bite!
My Pirelli's are a major pain to apply the shiny products due to the design of the tire's sidewall, it also seems to trap all of the road grime and dust, I'm using the Matt finishes for general meets and cruises and shiny plastic look for show and shines :tup Clean Wheels and Tires are a must

With my black rims I find that after wiping, the tires are very black with no shine. Oh remember you do not need to use tons of the stuff re spray a light coat and if you find you need more apply again. For the ultimate in neatness spray the product on a rag and apply this way as it will save you having to wipe off the rims or body panels.

Good tips again. I have some small sponges I use and they work great. Spray it on the sponge and wipe it on. The sponge is small enough that the dressing doesn't go anywhere other than on the tire.

^^^perfect. I forget what product I was using ( I have used many) but the instructions were to apply the product with a sponge (supplied) and blot when finished for the extra shine.

I just got a product called Wheel Wax from G2USA.com. Haven't tried it yet but it is supposed to be good for ALL wheels. Supposed to "seal and protect wheel surface, resist brake dust buildup and make wheels easier to clean ".
I report my assessment when I use it. And it's $15 for 8 oz

I tend to go overboard go figure but my rims get wiped down after a max of 25 k's unless it's a infrequent short highway trip. If they are dirty/dusty I will use a damp small microfiber towel. For chrome I would use strictly a chrome polish and not a hybrid product. There's nothing worse than dirty/pitted chrome rims.

I had authentic Roush chrome rims on my 05gt and they were absolutely minty mint the day I traded the car in for the latest ride. I found that the Roush rims without a doubt were the easiest rims to clean/polish since I started driving.

Snakebite..you got too much time on your hands LOL

I'm fussy myself, and do spend a fair bit of time trying to keep the "Beauty" lookin' good
I do use mircofibre towels so maybe I'll hunt at CTC for some chrome polish.
the rims have been on 4 days so still look like they just came out of the box.
