New look...

So I decided I wanted to remove the stock spoiler and put on a Xenon Ducktail spoiler. Once I had my stock spoiler off, I decided I liked the car better without any spoiler on it.....

opinions?

thanks..

i wasn't sure how i felt about it at first....

i really love the 08 bullit because it is so simple and plain...
but i find that no spoiler suits it alot for the colour that it is...

but after having the spoiler off, i really like it alot more than i thought i would....
it's one of those visuals you have to see to appreciate it.

now i just need to find a good body shop in the ottawa area to fill the holes in..

anyone have any suggestions?

No spoiler gets my vote, not that I carry any weight.

Personally, I say it would look great with a ducktail.

Before you pay the $$ to get the holes filled you can plug them temporarily for a while to be sure you still like that wingless look after the novelty wears off.

At the end of the day any mustang with or without a wing is still cool.

i was really looking forward to the ducktail....

it's been sitting here for over a month and I couldn't wait to get it on the car.. once i placed it on the car, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.. the colour was a little off.... enough for me to notice and it bug the hell out of me.. lol
the website for the spoiler said that it used factory holes as well... when i put it on my car, the holes didn't line up.. I didn't want to have to drill extra holes... it came off a 06 GT, I am guessing the spoiler holes in the GT are different for the location of the v6 models?

I was thinking of plugging the holes to see if I still like it after awhile... except when I took the other spoiler off, all the silicone is still stuck on the car... the spoiler was a pain to get off.. lol

how do i get the silicone off the car? I am afraid that it will leak in the trunk since I broke it to take off the spoiler... the stock spoiler is back on my car at the moment..
also what would I use to plug the holes temporarily? I'm new to this modding stuff, so i don't know the tricks.. lol

Some WD-40, a clean rag, and a bit of time rubbing (gently) should take care of the remaining glue that is stuck to the paint. as for plugs, you'd be surprised what you can come up with strolling through home depot, or canadian tire...failing that, a body shop, or rust proofing business may have some plugs that would work. For that matter, you could just get some heavy duty foil tape, and tape over the holes until you decide which direction you want to take ( it might look like ***, but it will keep the weather out, and will let you get a feel for how the spoiler delete looks...)
