Nitrous Advice

hey guys. ok i have a few questions. i built my motor last year to run spray. i have a comp cams nitrous hp stage 2 cam, i included a pic of my cam card.

so my main question is. what kit should i run. i was thinking either a plate kit upper to lower kinda thing. but im running a trickflow R series intake so its hard to find a plate for that. either that or i was thinking twin nozzles each a 150 shot. either way im just confused and have no idea whats safe and whats stupid. oh by the way my whole bottom end is forged and girdled. so im ok there. thanks

There are plates out there. Trick Flow actually makes a kit, part number TFS-N515R for the R intake, adjustable from 50-200hp. Rumour has it it's a rebadged NX kit.

With that being said NX also makes a plate kit for the R series intake with dual spray bars to handle 300hp.

You didn't by chance pick up that R intake used from a guy in Niagara did you, the username sounds familiar? If it was you, Clint still has the NX plate for that intake kicking around. Tack on some solenoids and bottle and you're in business.

Well, if you are going to spray your heads cam intake motor be prepared to have your block come apart.

Don't do the dual nozzle system, it would be far too much spray. A 150 shot will keep you in a relatively safe zone. Anything more and you'd be pushing that block.
