Newbie Looking for Some Advice
I live in Toronto and BMW's are a dime a dozen. Grew up in Kingston ON and a buddy had a 1968 1/2 convertible that we use to roll around in. Loved that car and now that I am an old man would like and advice on finding a classic Mustang. I am not a mechanic so would need a some good help and not a project car. But I am willing to learn as I go. Any help on where to start would be really appreciated...
Welcome. Best advice I can give is try to find something that has been completed and has plenty of pictures and/or documentation on the build. It's worth it to pay someone to inspect it before buying gas well.
Welcome, good luck on the search, I agree with Chad's thoughts, do your homework and never hurts to take a friend who can provide a devils advocate opinion when it comes time to look.
lots of research on the net reviews and other ... find someone to look it over and analyze the records ...must have records on the car even if fairly new. look at the owner and their habits and other vehicles .. how have they treated them
road test it thoroughly highway and other even at dusk see the lights working .. if you have to get temp permit ...road test it ...then Trust your your Gut
