3.9? That's news to me... Your car has a 3.8.

3.8 or 3.9... either way i wouldn't go for the M90 setup. the 99+ V6 mustangs use a split port design that gives us more power in the first place. in order to use the M90 you have to go to the old single port design and you'd be lucky to see a decent increase... if you're seriously interested in forced induction with real power let me know and i'll give you some contacts

+1 to what Nathan Craft said, and yes it is a 3.9, but I'm not sure if there are any other differences (on the '99-up) besides the small displacement bump on the '04s.

well imo there are a few routs you can go

1) get a GT.... (a v8 is a v8, and some people just buy a new car

2) Turbo.. It's gunna cost you about 4k if you can do your own work (minus a tune) have a quick look @ tmaturbo.com

3) S/C.... the M90 may not be the greatest for our split port sixers, but a friend i know makes a kit that uses the M112 off of the termi cobras. it'll run you about the same. only down side is the work is 100 % all urs minus tune, and you need a 3" cowl hood/ Y2K cobra R hood to fit it
