need some serious help
 
i was driving and then all of a sudden i felt my car jerk a bit and then it happened again and i noticed my check engine light came on for a split second. my car then gave up and i pulled to the side. i was wondering if anyone could help me cuz there is no spark coming from the wires and i tried boosting it but it wouldnt start up? the car is a 95 3.8l. any suggestions?

Check you coils, check the cap, rotor and wires. Check the wires going to the coils.

I assume you can crank it over since you say you have no spark.

the V6's don't have distributors from 94+ they have coil packs. Remove the oil cap and see if the rockers are moving when you crank it over. I have seen tming chains break on the V6 but usualy due to improver intallation when doing a rebuild not just out of the blue. I have seen the coil packs die as well but doubt that in your case.

Is it trying to start when you start it? Or does it just crank and thats it?Where are you located, I coudl read the coades with my ODB-II scanner if your close, I live near St. Catharines, Ontario.

Was ODBII out in 95?

If yes I have a code reader as well if the other guy is too far for you. I'm in Woodbridge.

Yep, the 94+ V6 Mustangs were OBD-II or atleast partially complaint.

now im having troubles with my car. i have a 95 auto v6 and i think my tranny is screwed. i will be driving normally and then all of a sudden my rpm's will shoot up and the car doesnt move then it kicks in. anyone know wut it could be from?

Start by checking the fluid level, if its low that will cause the trans to do that. Good Luck

i have already done that its up to level.
