Problem Exhaust Borla: sound metallic
Hi everyone, i'm french and i have a problem with my Mustang 2012 V6 with a exhaust Borla.
My exhaust (left side only) have a sound metallic since few months et i have no solution for resolve problem ...

Sounds like a vibration issue to me, maybe check the hangers for the muffler, or any metal to metal contact.
Maybe a muffler clamp is mispositioned....stick your head under and have a look, probably at a distance if its running. lol.

It sounds like a loose heat shield to me but there wouldn’t be one that far back I don’t think. I can’t tell from the video but is the rattle coming from the rear or could it be closer to the middle of the car and just resonating through the pipe? If it’s from the muffler I’d say it’s internal and you’d be best to email Borla.
