V6 Gas pedal hesitation

Again, a different animal than the 3.7, but the throttle response on my '07 V6 was horrible right from the start. The throttle lag drove me nuts. A tune cleared it right up...If I didn't know better, I'd think there was a physical link between the gas pedal and the throttle body. I'm not a fan of drive-by-wire.
The concerning part about yours is that it seems to be getting worse. If it was like that from day one, I would recommend picking up a tuner and some tunes...it made a world of difference with my car.

What he says. I bought a tuner on his advice and I'm glad I did. No more pedal lag.

You might try fulling fuse 47 and see if that helps.I keep reading
about the computer relearn feature and how it seems to be
change back after guys put a tune on their car.
Even after putting 3.55s in my V6 and a tune it will not
spin much in first gear.Good luck and hope you find
out what it is.

WOW! I did the Fuse 47 trick and took the Vert out for a spin, is like a completely different car!! Thanks Puroman.
Unbelievable the difference in the car just from a simple fuse pull.

Do a Google search for Fuse 47 Mustang. That is where I found out about it.
From what I understand, under the hood, in front of the battery open the fuse box, pull out #47 (When car is off) and leave it out for 10-15 minutes.
What this does is resets the throttle settings apparently. I was skeptical but read a few people trying it and saying it works so I decided to give it a try. Worked exactly as they stated it would. Throttle is sensitive now and I can feel the power in the car that was not there before (was starting to wonder about 305hp).
Saved me 400US on a tuner (at least for now) because it did work exactly as advertised.

The talk is that Ford might have put something in
the computer that makes it reset after some time.
I have a Bama SF3 tuner and I get performance
but only for a short time and this is with a tune.
I also hear that if you have a auto trans,that
the computer will adjust to your type of driving.

it can be fixed and eliminated with a proper tune from the likes of sct. I had the same issue with my 08. it is so fast now it moves before you are done thinking about it lol. I race the car a lot though so I want it fast acting. can't tell the diff from a cable . I had my car tuned at marken performance in Kitchener.highly recommended .
