Rolling Sculpture Car Show
# Place: Canmore, AB Centennial Park
# Date: Sunday, June 21st, 2009 (Fathers Day)
# Registration: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
# Show: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
# Cost: $20.00 per car entry
# Admission: Spectator admission is free
We hold the event to help support the Food For Learning program at the Middle School in Canmore, Food for learning helps provide nutritious meals for those children that come to school without a proper breakfast or lunch.
Also this year we have taken on a new initiative in a similar program with the Catholic School which was extremely under funded, we are happy to say that last week we presented the Catholic School with a cheque for 2000.00 to kick start their program and we will be providing them with more after the event to get their program on the right ground to start the next school year with.
In the last five years we have provided the public school with over 32,000.00 and of course the 2000.00 we have just provided to the Catholic school brings the funding to over 34,000.00 so far, all made possible by the generous donations from our sponsors and car show participants.
