Smile International

Those next two locations sound inviting.
I only hope they realize that a lot of folks, perhaps not all, that drive a long distance want to do something more than sit around at a show & shine with their Mustangs.
I know there are different ..shall we say "Camps"..some of the older cars are not set up for road course..drags..launch box..rodeo..tire change...even poker runs...but there are getting to be more and more newer cars that are.
It would be an option I would have available for an International If I were to organize one.

Just a thought

Smile Road trip

Personally, if there is some organization with a little lead time it would be great to get these cars out for meets withing reasonable distances over a weekend.
I would be game if the intent was to get out of towners to come for a little weekend fun. Alberta is so central you could get some interest from both sides of the province.
I did a mini one for Challengers last year and had 11 cars show up for a fun weeken, with BBQ..Scavenger hunt..meet and greet and tied it into a local Show & Shine..everyone said they really enjoyed the little mini event.

If it was just a daily meet I am sure there are lots of locals who would attend. Give it a shot!

not every city has a drag strip close to the show site...when the international is in vancouver in 2014 there wont be any drag racing as the track is used for other events that weekend..there might be a friday night street legal drags though from 5pm till 10pm but with the kegger party at the hotel friday night and the car show saturday morning dont think many will drive an hour plus each way from the show site to the drag strip in mission.

Oh well, guess there will be othere events to go to. There again maybe the Vancouver crew will put some other interesting things together for additional draw/fun...autocross.tire change..launch box..rodeo...slow drags..etc

I would be interested in an Alberta meet, and if try to make as central as possible for all wester stangs, maybe we could attract some of the members from as far as Sak/MB to BC. Lemme Know, I'll be there with the new mistress.
