I can buy them in the US and pay shipping duties and taxes and it would still be cheaper than Kal Tire prices...gross.

That reminds me, I have a set to sell as well.
Check the local Ford dealers. I know that we can get Nitto at our dealership.

I received an email saying that they have tracked down the fronts and rears I originally ordered (in 2 different locations in Canada versus their warehouse in BC) so if I still wanted them I could get them.
I thought about it for a bit and decided to go for it and give them a chance to come through.
Free shipping promo is very good too to save me a few bucks.
I will get the fronts and rears in 2 different shipments but getting the rears a week or so after the fronts is no big deal.

Pleased that they did a bit of work to find the tires for me so I guess this will turn out just fine after all.

I am supposed to get confirmation of the order today so hopefully it is smooth sailing from here.

Man, you got the worst luck with on-line shopping, I still recall that last little battle you had. Glad it worked out.

Update: I received the tires from 1010tires so after the initial bit of disappointment they came through after all.
I am pleased and would buy from them again due to their customer service in taking care of me.

Here is a pic of the rubber. 285/35/19 for the rear and 255/40/19 for the front.
I am throwing them on the new Ford Racing Boss Laguna Seca (that was a mouthful) wheels 19x9 fronts and 19x10 rears.
