Question New tires

I need new tires for my 2011 GT/CS. My OEM Pirelli's are cracked and starting to split between the tread. After educating myself on tire life and what happens when a car sits 5 or 6 months a year it was a surprise.
Can anyone recommend a good tire for my drop top? I am considering Michelin Pilot A/S 3 tires? A little pricy but apparently a good choice for my tire size? (245/45r 19 98W)

Can't go wrong with Michelin in my opinion. I also hear good things about Nitto.

BF Goodrich KDW's are a decent tire from what I've heard, but I'll also echo what Chad recommends with the Michelins.

The Michelins you're considering are a nice tire. if you want all seasons, another good tire at a better price point would be the Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS. If you could manage a summer only tire, consider the Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position...very nice summer tire, and still a better price than the all season Michelins.

Michellin Pilot Super Sports.
Best tires by far I've ever had.

There are several different Michelin Pilot models, "Pilot" applies to almost all of their performance lineup. Do you need all-season tires? If not, skip the A/S 3 that you were looking at, and go with the Pilot Super Sport as suggested above. Another good alternative is the Continental Extreme Contact DW. Both of those tires will outperform any of the Nitto street tires.

cheers
